Anzac War!
They arrived at Gallipoli on the 25th of April 1915. The war was between the British, Aussie, New zealanders & French vs the Germans, Turkish & Austrians. They all arrived on a boat, you’re probably thinking, “ Oh! That’s not even that bad!” No! They actually got dropped off far away fr0m the island they were supposed to be on. They had to walk all the way through the cold water to the actual Island! Then when they got on the Island, bullets and grenades were flying over their heads and before they even stepped on the land, some even died. I just know they must have been super nervous and shaky to fight. It must have been a really hard time for them.
